i’d rather be ashes than dust

This past week, I bid farewell to a hero of mine. Although it was unexpected, I’m resisting the temptation to see it as a tragedy. Kirsten Dahlen was extraordinary in many ways. She continues to inspire me to live with passion, even after her death. For the full story on my sister, her conservation work, and her death, check out her blog here. Her life was her message, and if my sharing can spread the love, then I’m honored to have done my small part.

Celebrate life while it’s here!
